In today’s video I will talk about Promoting your Instagram account through targeted advertising. I will show you in detail how you can set up the promotion of an instagram account without going into the ad manager. By promoting a post in the news feed from your account itself, you can also target your account.

And in today’s video, I’ll show you how to promote posts on Instagram through your personal profile. But first, I will tell you what you need to do in order for you to have such a function:
1. you need to transfer your personal account to an Instagram business account;
2. you need to create a business page on Facebook and link your Instagram account to it;
3. connect the payment system to the payment method on Facebook or Instagram.

So, after that you will have the opportunity to promote the posts that you published in the feed, that is, on your Instagram profile.

Why transfer to a business account? After you transfer to a business account, you have post statistics, promotion statistics, that is, so that you can see the analytics of your actions. After you have done all the functions, a “Promote” button appears next to each post.

Now I will show you how you can do this from your Instagram account, from your personal profile … So, you click “Promote”, after which this page opens – “What indicator do you want to increase?”.

There is:
• “Visiting a site or profile” and
• “Local recognition”

The essence is, in principle, the same, only two different possibilities. Let’s choose “Visit site or profile”. We see two buttons:
1) “More” is about setting up a campaign;

2) “Preview”. Once configured, you can see what happens.

So, target selection

There are two goals:
1. “Site visits …” or
2. “Local awareness.”

Choose “Visit the site …”.
“Destination”:

• or Instagram account (“Business -instagram profile “),
• or” Site “. If the site, then paste the URL of your site here, necessarily with a UTM-tag.

In this case, I will select “Instagram Business Profile”.
